Semester 2 Aviation Keynote Address

Dr Paul Hooper, Director of Policy and Regulation, Abu Dhabi Department of Transport

The rapid growth of commercial avaition in the Gulf region was the theme of Dr Paul Hooper's presentation to launch the Department of Aviation's visiting speakers program for 2009. Dr Hooper, Director of Policy and Regulation for the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, addressed the emerging role of Abu Dhabi as a regional hub, and outlined the role of network theory and economic geography in understanding the development of Gulf aviation.
