Saturday 27 March, 9am - 12.30pm at the Qantas Jetbase

The Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowships are awarded annually to women pursuing a Ph.D./doctoral degree in aerospace-related sciences and aerospace-related engineering. The Fellowship of US$10,000 may be used at any university or college offering accredited post-graduate courses and degrees. Students must be registered in a full-time Ph.D./doctoral program when funds are received.

Zonta International is a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. The Fellowship was established in 1938 in honour of Amelia Earhart, famed pilot and Zonta club member.

This event is to promote the Fellowship and provide a rare opportunity to get behind the scenes and network with the Women in Engineering at Qantas Airways. It is an unique opportunity to tour a Qantas aircraft, the flight simulators and cabin emergency procedures training area with Qantas Engineering staff!
