From 2012, the University of New South Wales School of Aviation is offering a new Graduate Diploma in Flying (Program 5536)*. This Graduate Diploma will operate concurrently with the Bachelor of Aviation Management (Program 3981), and students will undertake a total of 192 Units of Credit, equal to 4 years full-time enrolment. Fee-Help will be available for the Graduate Diploma courses, allowing deferment of some expenditure on flying training.

The Bachelor of Aviation Flying (Program 3980) will continue to operate, offering a 3 year (144 Unit of Credit) degree. This option is the cheapest overall and shortest in elapsed time, but cannot offer Fee-Help for flying training.

In both cases, flying training is undertaken at the UNSW School of Aviation Flying Operations Unit, Building 570, Airport Avenue, Bankstown Airport, utilising the new fleet of Diamond aeroplanes.
