Scholarship Description
Providing young drivers with the necessary skills to make effective decisions regarding safe driving practices is crucial in positively reducing the high fatality rate amongst this population. Hence, the project is to explore the utility of various training methods to improve young drivers' speed management skills. The PhD candidate is expected to conduct experiments as well as perform statistical analyses related to the data collected. Funds are available to support research and travel expenses to domestic or international conferences where a paper is delivered.
