Professional Flying Training Programs

The Flying Training Programs produce high quality pilots who are also future leaders and managers. Students receive a solid academic and theoretical grounding in aviation management and safety.

Graduate Diploma (Flying)

The Graduate Diploma in Flying is a program designed to meet the needs of graduates with an ambition toward a career as a pilot. This program operates concurrently with the Bachelor of Aviation Management. 

Research

Research involves original and critical enquiry that makes a significant contribution to existing knowledge. Postgraduate research students are required to produce a thesis embodying the results of independent investigation under the guidance of an academic supervisor.

Honours in Aviation

The School of Aviation is proud to be able to offer an Honours in Aviation as part of its comprehensive suite of industry-relevant degrees. It is available as either a one year full-time or a two-year part time program.

Short courses

The school offers short courses several times a year, to both UNSW Flying students and external students.

Aviation Management Program

The Management degree includes a wide range of aviation management courses which have been developed in consultation with the industry and aim to develop skills including critical thinking and decision making.
